Potlucks combine the worst of cooking for yourself and the anxiety of Christmas. You shop, cook, and clean just like every day. All the work is there. Then you bring your offering to the table and watch to see if it's the last chosen (just like you were in pick-up baseball games) or if you're going to bring most of it back home with you. Was it your dish that made everyone suddenly remember their diets and adopt strict portion controls? Potlucks. There ought to be a law.
Plugging a Gay Business
I met the owner of San Francisco's Regency Limousine Service at a GGBA networking event. This economy is giving him the roughest time of his 25 years in business. He does corporate limo service, airport pick-ups, and tours through San Francisco, the wine country, and other Bay Area tourist places. All of these activities are pretty dead this year! San Francisco Traffic Alert
redozdachs's office management put out this traffic alert this morning: Today, Wednesday, August 5: Television Commercial Filming T-Mobile is shooting a television commercial today above and around the city. Approximately 100 skydivers will jump from a plane and land in four separate spots in San Francisco. This will occur between noon and 1:30 pm depending on the winds. The skydivers will land in Justin Hermann Plaza, the Marina Greens, Moscone Playground and on the roof of Pier 39 parking garage. The skydivers plan to form a "T" while floating toward San Francisco.
