Today I learned that MUNI is faster that a speeding flash camera! She loves the morning play session with the pack, While the adults focus on food or something a human is doing, MUNI bounces around the kitchen, biting tails, legs, ears, and necks. The photos snapped with a shutter speed of 1/60th of a second captured most of MUNI's play. Day 50 — Establishing Favorites

Our 7-week-old girl has been inundated with play toys and unleashed to roam the kitchen. She approves. Day 50 -- Chewing our Way to Happiness She romps and plays, but her favorite discovery is the communal dog pile in the Hide-a-Pet under the butcher block. Day 48 — We’re Back

We returned from our quick Seattle trip about 4 and spent a bit of time getting reacquainted with the pack, including MUNI. We enjoyed the cute MUNI stories told by Tony, and very much appreciated his babysitting. Tony allowed his dog, Truman, to be boarded so that our youngster wouldn't be exposed to any nasty viruses. Fortunately the Wag Hotel seemed to amuse Truman greatly. He panted happily the entire drive back home. At our den on 23rd St, we played and then cuddled extra close in the TV room. Day 48 -- They're Back!

MUNI's days start out with play and food around 5:30 that lasts to 6:30. Then we crash. Geoffrey starts another round of play about 8 which lasts until he goes to work. Then when Galen gets back from delivering Geoffrey to BART, we have another play session. Like this one... Day 43 — We’ve Been Shot!

MUNI's six-week birthday celebration was punctuated by a visit from our vet! Besides being examined head to toe and being weighed (3 pounds, 4.2 ounces), MUNI discovered by dogs don't always have a good time when they see the vet. MUNI received her first in a series (of 6???) puppy shots. Today was the just the basic anti-the-most-common-and-nasty illness shots: parvo for sure! She complained some, but, well, she is a puppy. We were warned by the doctor that MUNI would likely run a fever and could be lethargic. Lethargic didn't happen! I don't know about the fever, but MUNI [...]

Day 42 — The Play Continues

Now that MUNI is on the way to being a play machine, we unwrapped the rope delivered a couple days ago from Petco. MUNI pretty quickly understood its purpose and approved. Aunt Apex, on the other hand, wanted everyone to know that she was the Original play machine. All toys should be hers first, she says. Day 42 - Introducing a New Toy to MUNI.. But Apex Wants It!
